Endless possibilities show up when you push back your limitations; we must tell you about Dr. Ravindra Vinjamuri who illustrates this statement with his work and life. An engineer turned healer, and entrepreneur with a difference, who has had several experiences that just strengthened his will to make this world a better place for people with challenges.
Professionally an engineer, Dr. Vinjamuri made his way despite several challenges – one of them being polio that challenged his mobility since birth. He focused on his strength and compassion that made him to Kwan Mobility AI and designed special chairs for children with autism. Its special features include a height-adjustable seat, a learning table, accessible technology, hygiene kits, fidget gadgets, a speech therapy kit, fall detection, and musical healing. It’s his effort to uphold the “dignity of mobility” as he said. Besides Kwan, he has established several other ventures operational in the US, UAE, and India.
Among Dr. Vinjamuri’s ventures HYGRIVA steals the show. It is a patented Gen AI platform for musical healing that has been creating stunning results, encouraging him to stretch his limits and create new pathways to heal people through his innovations.
Asia Education Digest has had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Vinjamuri for an insightful conversation that turned out to be another delightful experience for the magazine. Here are a few excerpts from the conversation!

Question 1: How did you have this idea of healing the child on a flight? I am sure you didn’t guess that you may have to do that when you were boarding it.
Response: I had no idea this would happen and lead to a New disruption. Apart from my business, I am a Music Composer and I carry my mobile studio with me. It was in this particular flight, creating a song, when I noticed a desperate Mom trying to control her autistic son. I got an idea to distract the kid with my gizmos. It had sounds and colourful lights. It worked! He stopped bothering his mom and calmed down. Later I got curious and researched about Binaural beats and the effects of musical healing on Autism.
Question 2: How did you come across the idea of using the healing power of music for people and what was their reaction?
Response: I wanted to understand more about Autism, completed PG in Special Needs from Asian College of Teachers and further acquired Doctorate in “Impact of Music on Autistic Brain Using AI” from EIU. It was tough to manage my companies in the US, UAE & India, and studying. There was clearly a spiritual driving force to impact people.
I combined Power of AI and Musical technology for healing.
It’s called HYGRIVA - Hybrid Generative AI, frequency sensitive, Synchronized Rendition of Variational Audio Elements and patented globally.Reactions from people were initially with scepticism, that how would healing just happen with music. Once they experienced the results, appreciations poured in, followed by blessings.
Question 3: What are the limitations that you discovered in the existing approach to music as a form of healing?
Response: Firstly, present frequency-based musical healing assumes that a particular frequency, say Alpha 7 Hz, relaxes everyone. In reality, each and every person has a unique response to sound frequencies, has choices of genres, instruments, styles, and several parameters.
Secondly, there is no scientific way to assess the frequency response map of a person.
Question 4: What’s your approach to dealing with these limitations and making the most of music for healing people?
Response: Firstly, we invented the world’s 1st method to assess the frequency response, by analyzing the facial video of a person. This is like an MRI of the mind showing the musical profile.
Secondly, with the assessment report, set the goals for the participant, like: stress management, pain management, and women’s issues.
Thirdly, we then added Hygriva AI formula to the songs chosen by the participants.
Fourthly, we conduct transformation sessions and assess results.
Question 5: Tell us a bit about ‘Music Healing & Transformation.’
Response: Hygriva AI won several awards internationally in 6 months.
We started Autism to provide relief to autism, then addressed Pain Management, Cancer, Diabetes, Infertility, Trauma, Work Pressure, and over 50+ medical and wellness conditions. Till date we have provided relief to 7000+ participants. Just me and my partner Shalini, with 95% AI automation. All that a participant has to do is listen to their favorite songs customized by Hygriva AI to get healed.

Question 6: How was bouncing back to improving your invention when you yourself suffered from a paralytic attack in 2023?
Response: On a seemingly normal day. I woke with my right hand paralysed! I had polio from birth for both my legs. I was left with my just “Left” hand working!
I went through a painful treatment – 1 hr of physio and 5 hrs of pain, and no pain killers.
This was the time, I experienced the power of my medicine. I could overcome pain, gain energy, confidence, and acceptance of the facts, I could feel the spiritual pivoting of energy and self-healing, and healing others. I experienced a Ver 2.0 of myself
Question 7: Hygriva integrates AI and music for healing. Could you explain how AI personalizes the musical healing experience for different conditions, from autism to breast cancer?
Response: As examples, we address aggressive behaviour, speech rehab, focus management, etc.
For diabetes, address stress management, energy boost, etc.
For breast cancer, we address confidence building, depression management, etc.
The role of AI is to become a Virtual companion in the transformation, betterment, and attainment of the participant.
Question 8: What makes Hygriva different from traditional music therapy methods? How does generative AI enhance the effectiveness of music in healing?
Response: We built Hygriva for the Next Billion. It's 100% personalised, unbiased, highly scalable, self-learning.
Question 9: Since Hygriva is active in five countries, how does it adapt to different cultural understandings of music and healing? Do you customize musical therapies based on regional musical traditions?
Response: Yes, customise to cultural needs, beliefs and sentiments. As examples, we have customised religious, spiritual, melodious songs in different languages.
We believe that “pain”, “suffering”, “trauma” are common across nationalities, people, religions, and cultures. Providing relief, spreading smiles and love is Hygriva’s mission
Question 10: Where do you see the future of AI-powered music healing heading? Do you think AI can completely redefine healthcare therapies beyond conventional medical treatments?
Response: We believe in the shift from chemical medicine to music, eventually. AI will play a great role in the personalization at scale. In the future, doctors may prescribe a set of frequencies in the place of tablets!
Question 11: After healing over 7,000+ individuals, what personal transformation have you experienced through this journey? How has this mission changed your perspective on healing, science, and life itself?
Response: It is a surreal transformation personally. When participants are healed/transformed, their gratification is unlimited and they shower abundant blessings. I would push out any important work to heal a person. I even take tiring road trips to make one feel better.
I feel at the top of the world in rendering the Hygriva Service!!
On a hilarious note, participants think, I am a Medical Doctor!! Transformation from an Engineer to Doctor is fantabulous!!
Question 12: Please tell us about one of the best experiences of healing participants in your healing practices that you remember.
Response: During my painful rehab, a Turkish, autistic boy was referred to me with speech impairment. He could not utter any word. Parents tried everything and then they were referred to me.
It was quite challenging, as parents could only speak Arabic. I formulated a plan and conducted sessions for 2 months. The result: He spoke the word “Ammi” (Mom)
Their Family was thanking profusely! For me, all the pain of rehab vanished! And a new assurance paved the way in helping more people.
