AI isn’t a Threat But its Misuse May Turn it into One

AI may not do you any harm or make it a threat to you, but misusing it backfires.

It would sound like a cliché and we don’t want to sound like nagging but the talk around AI-threat is hyped. A recent report in ‘Wired’ nailed the fact that using AI may not do you any harm or make it a threat to you, but misusing it backfires.

To clarify, the report talked about the incident when lawyers tried to create erroneous court proceedings and the chatbots made up reports. They were not authentic. As a result, the lawyers were penalized with heavy fines, suspension, and other punishments.

How AI performs depends a lot on the users. So, whether it’s a threat or a confidante will depend on how you train it to become through your prompts, and the tasks that you ask it to do.
